How email address validation works.

After installing The Form Validator into a web form, the behavior of the web form is changed. The form will only be submitted back to your web site/server after getting a go-ahead signal from The Form Validator .

What actually happens when your customer clicks on the submit button, is the email address field in your form is encrypted and transmitted to The Form Validator 's data center. Upon receiving the request to validate the email address The Form Validator makes every attempt possible to contact the email server or servers which have been designated to handle the delivery of the email. After successfully contacting the email servers, The Form Validator submits a request to the email server to acknowledge ( yes or no ) the "deliverability" of the email address. If the email server provides a negative response and failure message The Form Validator will send that failure message back to your customers web browser. If the email server provides a positive reps once The Form Validator will quietly allow your form to be submitted to your web site/server.

This entire process usually takes one or two seconds but it is possible that it will take longer depending upon the speed of the customers email server response.
